Emery Foster, as the technical director, handled the rigging for Anonymous and drafted the "scaffold" that served as the set.
The rigging included a kabuki and a sniffer for the "waterfall" backdrop, and side panels that started as vertical and ended the show as a starry canopy for the audience.

This was Emery's first drafting project, entirely comprised of metal. Learning how to draft for metal construction included giving tolerances for welds, adjusting for internal and external dimensions, and drafting in alignment for metal.

The "waterfall fabric" was a kabuki/sniffer drop. The kabuki was provided by vertigo Flying Effects, but the sniffer was rigged through the Kabuki with grommets and nails used as pins. As the kabuki began to spin, it would pull the pins simulaneously, causing the fabric to drop.

The side panels slowly pulled up over the course of the whole show. This effect was achieved through a 7:1 Mechanical Disadvantage.
