Hi! 

I'm Emery Foster

My journey in Technical Theatre began at Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) in 2018. I graduated in 2021 with a BA in Visual Art with a Theatre Design concentration. During that time, I maintained a 4.0 GPA and also graduated with Honors, summa cum laude. I began the journey for my M.F.A. in Technical Direction at Northern Illinois University in 2024 and hope to graduate in 2027.

Over the past year, I have been an intern in the fabrication shop at Upstaging, Inc., the Assistant Technical Director at The Egyptian Theatre, and a contract Technical Director at Elgin Community College. 

While not working, I can be found reading a book, crocheting, or haunting estate sales. I also enjoy finding the best food and coffee shops, and love recommendations!
